A development policy and public health specialist with extensive experience in program implementation and evaluation. I have over 15 years of professional experience spanning teaching, public policy research and advocacy, including evaluation consulting in health, education and labour sectors. I have supported government at federal and state levels in estimation of health accounts, drafting of national health financing policy, costing of strategic health development plans and development of investment case for health. I have also evaluated programs to develop HIV/AIDS medical services and provided analytics for establishment of health insurance schemes. I have worked on a number of development projects funded by donor organizations including the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), World Bank, European Commission, and International Commission on Financing Global Education Opportunity.
His publications and analyses cover a broad spectrum of topics including healthcare, rural livelihood, agriculture, education, labor markets, institutional governance and international trade, and have appeared as articles in peer-reviewed academic and policy journals, occasional/working papers and opinion pieces. He is an effective speaker at mid-to-high level policy and strategy sessions, and have taught economics and econometrics, finance, mathematics, statistics, demography and health in my role as tutor, instructor, lecturer and assistant professor at university level in Nigeria, South Africa and the US. Oluwole is an experienced costing and modelling expert with over 10 years’ experience in public health expenditure analysis, planning and costing, simulation of economic and financial modeling, fiscal space analysis, data management, survey instrument design and development; data digitization and analysis. His project involvement includes technical support to World Health Organization (WHO) on production of National and Subnational Health Accounts in Nigeria - He is the Lead TA on the application of System of Health Accounts Model to the production of National Health Accounts (NHA) 2010 – 2019 in Nigeria by Federal Ministry of Health and National Bureau of Statistics. He is currently providing technical support to WHO Eastern and Southern Africa on COVID-19 financing and Vaccine Rollout Activities in 20 countries.

He participated in several professional training courses including Inter-professional Healthcare Informatics at University of Minnesota, USA; Basics of Health Economics at World Bank Institute; Maternal Mortality: Epidemiological Perspective at Cornell University, USA; etc. He is a member of National Health Financing and Equity Technical Working Group of Federal Ministry of Health, Nigeria.

Having acquired health sector development experience in the past 20 years, Paul has in recent years concentrated on policy research and practice focused on Initiatives developed for mainstreaming public financial management concepts into public health towards improving alignment between functions of public finance and health financing.

Korede is a health system costing, resource tracking, financial modelling and health financing expert. He has expertise in statistical analysis and software management. He is an outstanding Researcher and Data Analyst with proficiency in statistical/analytical applications such as STATA, Health Accounts Production Tool (HAPT), Health Account Analysis Tool (HAAT), Census and Survey Processing Software (CSPro), Spectrum, OneHealth Tool (OHT) e.t.c. He is skilled and experienced in database management; survey instrument design, implementation, as well as data visualization and digitization. He studied Game Theory application from Stanford University.
He has been involved with major health financing/resource tracking projects including: National Health Accounts (NHA), several Sub-national Health Accounts, costing of National Strategic Health Development Plan II; Household Health Expenditure Tracking Surveys across various states, Public Expenditure Tracking, Fiscal Space Analysis, Economic and Financial Modeling of Health Insurance Schemes in many states.
He is currently a member of the Core Team for National Health Account and National Strategic Health Development Plan (NSHDP II) led by Federal Ministry of Health.

Veronica received her Nursing education from University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, Nigeria and worked in the public and private clinical setting for several years. She joined Fundex Namibia in Windhoek as a policy adviser on issue of human resources for health and later became the director of administration responsible for staffing, facilities, telecommunications, database management; purchasing, shipping/receiving, customers care etc. She is currently the Chairperson to the board of trustee in Centre for Health Economics and Development with the responsibility to ensure that all aspects of the organization’s operations meets established objectives for growth including evaluation of operation processes and procedures, in accordance with the standards, procedures, budgets and timelines set out by the organization.

Loveline is a Development Economist with over three years’ experience in development research, sustainability, fiscal space analysis, and econometric modelling, valuations and analysis. Having completed her Bachelor’s degree in Economics with First-Class Honours from the premier university- University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Also, she bagged a Masters in Sustainable Development finishing with a Merit in Coursework and Distinction in Dissertation focused in Sustainable Development from the University of St Andrews, Scotland United Kingdom as a Commonwealth Scholar. This academic experience provided her with an extensive understanding of numerous aspects of sustainable development theory and its practical implications specifically in development contexts. She has worked in various research capacities during her undergraduate and graduate studies and has employed econometric and analytical skills.

Loveline currently holds the role as the Head, Knowledge management Unit at the Centre for Health Economics and Development (CHECOD). She is responsible for managing the knowledge database of the organization and also doubles as a research consultant on health systems (strengthening and financing), fiscal space analysis, national and sub-national health accounts estimation, public financial management, population and demography, and general health economics and development spheres.
